The Harbour

Look out on the water
see what I see.
The water,
it seperates us.
Makes our two worlds
So entirely different.
We see, and smell
different things.
But the one thing we do see
is each other across the water.
But just because
our worlds are different
doesn't mean we aren't the same.
I love you,
near or far.
I wish that the water would just disappear
bringing us together.
My head starts spinning with ideas.
I wish I could be with you.
But when I look over once more,
I see her wrap her arms around you,
and kiss you softly.
I envy her.
But I realize, shes in your world.
And I am not.
